| You'll Need: Small amount Aunt Lydia's "Denim"(example made with Chambray),H hook,5/8" shank button. Note:Main body of case is worked in continuous rounds. Dec=Pull up a loop in next 2 sts,YO,pull through all loops on hook. To Make: Body Rnd 1:Ch 15,sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across.Sc in free loops on opposite side of ch(28sc). Rnd 2-22:Sc in each st around.At end of Rnd 22,sc in next 5 sts to end at body side.Sew button in center of case on Rnd 8. Flap Row 1-4:Ch 1,turn.Sc in next 14 sts. Row 5:Ch 1,turn.Dec,sc in next 10 sts,Dec(12sc). Row 6:Ch 1,turn.Sc in each st across. Row 7:Ch 1,turn.Dec,sc in next 8 sts,Dec(10sc). Row 8:Rep Row 6. Row 9:Ch 1,turn.Dec,sc in next 6 sts,Dec(8sc). Row 10:Rep Row 6. Row 11:Ch 1,turn.Dec,sc in next 4 sts,Dec(6sc). Row 12:Rep Row 6. Row 13:Ch 1,turn.Dec,sc in next 2 sts,Dec(4sc). Row 14:Rep Row 6. Row 15:Ch 1,turn.Dec twice(2sc). Row 16:Rep Row 6. Edging Ch 1,sc in end of Rows 16-5 of flap.Sc in next 14 sts on body.Sc in end of Rows5-16(48sc).Sl st in sc of Row 16,ch 5,sl st in next sc.Fasten off,weave in ends. Shoulder Strap Row 1:Ch 4,dc in 4th ch from hook. Row 2-?:Ch 3,turn.Dc in same st as turning ch. Rep Row 2 until strap is the length you want.Sew ends to sides of case. |
