Row 1:Ch 12, dc in 6th ch from hook. (Ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next ch)across, ending with dc in last ch. (5 dc)
Row 2-15:Ch 4, turn (dc in top of next dc, ch 1), rep across. (5 dc)
Edging:Do not turn; working in end of rows, slip st in 1st row, (sc,hdc,sc) in each row across to last row(sc,hdc,sc) 2 times in last row to form corner; 2 sc in next 2 ch 1 spaces. Repeat around to 1st row, work sc,hdc,sc in 1st space; join with slip st in 1st sc, finish off.
Tassel:Using six 5" lengths of thread held together, attach fringe tassel in space at center bottom of bookmark.
