| You'll Need: Homespun yarn,approximately 8 skeins,"J" hook To Make: Motif Strips(2)-Make enough motifs(first 2 rounds of this Granny Square)that when sewed together,measures the width that you want your afghan. Afghan Body Row 1:Join yarn with sl st to upper left-hand corner of one motif strip.Ch 2,hdc evenly across top of motif strip, ch 2,turn. Row 2-?:Hdc in each stitch across until afghan is the length you want it.Fasten off. Whip stitch 2nd motif strip to to end of afghan. Edging: Join yarn with sl st to any corner motif.Ch 1,sc in same space as joining.Ch 3,sc in each end of rows and in motif spaces.Join with sl st to 1st sc. |
