You'll Need:
Worsted weight yarn,hook "H"
Sport weight yarn,Hook "G"
Lustersheen Thread,hook "E"
Coasters:
Light-blue:Knitcrosheen,2 strands held together,hook "E"
Red:worsted weight,hook "H"
Green:Lustersheen,hook "E"
Copper:Wool-ease,hook "G"
To Make:
Ch 4;join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1:Ch 3,11 dc in ring;join with slip st to top of beg ch 3(12 dc).
Rnd 2:Working in spaces between dc,slip st in 1st space,ch 3,dc in same space.2 dc in next space and in each space around;join with a slip st to 1st dc(24 dc).
Rnd 3:Working in spaces between dc,slip st in 1st space,ch 2,dc in next space,ch 3,*(yo, insert hook in next space,yo and pull up a loop,yo and draw through 2 loops on hook)twice,yo and draw through all 3 loops on hook,ch 3;rep from * around;skip beg ch-2 and join with a slip st to 1st dc(12 ch-3 sp).
Rnd 4:Slip st in 1st ch-3 space,ch 3,6 dc in same space,ch 1,sc in next ch-3 space,ch 1,*7 dc in next ch-3 space,ch 1,sc in next ch-3 space,ch 1;rep from * around;join with a slip st to 1st dc(6 dc groups)Finish off.
Notes:
You may want to add a lacy edge to thread coasters.Sc,ch 3 in each st around.Use for tea cups.
Yarn coasters work well for mugs.
