| I wanted a flower in a color that I couldn't find in bedspread or sport-weight thread,so I tried embroidery floss.It comes in so many colors,you'll be able to make one in every color of the rainbow! |

| You'll Need: 1 skein embroidery floss(DMC),steel hook "0" To Make: Keeping all 6 strands of floss together,ch 5,join with a sl st to form a ring. Rnd 1:Ch 1,7 sc in ring;join with sl st to first sc(7 sc). Rnd 2:Ch 1,sc in same st,ch 1,*sc in next sc,ch 1.Rep from * around;join(7 ch-1 sps). Rnd 3:Ch 1,work(sc,ch 1,3 dc,ch 1,sc)in each ch-1 sp around.Join to first sc(7 petals).Fasten off,weave in ends. Note:Use floss flower to embellish hats,shirts,pillows,etc. Sew on small safety pin for lapel pin.Add magnet for fridgie. |
