| You'll Need: Worsted yarn,approximately 3oz,hooks "G" & "H". Guage: "H"-Rnds 1-2=2 3/4" "G"-4 sc=1" To Make: Crown,use "H" hook Rnd 1-6:Rep rnds 1-6 of BMH. Rnd 7-10:Rep rnd 8 of BMH(40 sts). Band: Rnd 1-4:Rep rnds 1-4 of BMH(80 dc in Rnd 3). Brim,use "G" hook Rnd 1:Ch 1,work sc in same st and in next 19 sts,inc(Sc in next 20 sts,inc)twice.Sc in next 16 sts,inc.Join.(84 sc). Rnd 2:Ch 1,sc in same st and in next 3 st,inc.*Sc in next 4 sc,inc.Rep from * around.Sc in last 4 sc.Join.(100 sc). Rnd 3:Work sc in each st around.Join. Rnd 4:Work rnd 2 of BMH(120 sc). Rnd 5-6:Rep rnd 3.Fasten off,weave in ends. |
