Ladybug Teapot-$2 at a yardsale. It will be filled with various teabags & given as a gift to a lady who is fun & vivacious for her 26th birthday!**Update:I was at Albertson's grocery store & saw this same teapot in the floral section for $21.99!**

Too windy to hike.

I stopped at Big Lots for pork rinds & found 8-pack 4-count cracker sandwiches for 50 cents each.I got 3 for the food pantry bags next week.

I dropped off a big bag of donations at the Red Cross thift store.

Driving past the post office, there were loads of police with the road closed off & yellow crime tape up.I have no idea what that was about.**Update:A lady was dropping off mail at the drive-up mailbox. She openend her door & leaned out, with her seatbelt still hooked,& accidently hit her gas pedal, trapping herself between her car door & mailbox. She is okay.**

At the Family Thrift Center,I found 2 pair of ladies cargo pants & a zip-up hoodie, all St John's Bay brand.

I went home for lunch then went up to the church for Food Pantry.Julie had her 11-year-old grandson there & he helped Chuck & me fold bulletins.11 bags given away.

At Goodwill,I got an "Herbs" sign that coordinates with the "Flowers" sign in my kitchen. Also,an 8oz skein of RHS Light Gray yarn.

Back home,I finished up 3 loads of laundry.

I made Snitch #26.

We had Chicken Bacon Cheese wraps & Apple Salad for supper.

Love that teapot. How sweet of you to give it as a gift. I would probably keep it for myself :)

Thanks,All!

I prefer the old china look in teapots, but this fun style will suit my friend to a tea!

Boy oh boy! I'd pay $2, but never $22 for something like that! Besides this way you can add to the gift and personalize it to her tastes and still come in way under that $22 price! Gotta love the thrift stores! and creativity which allows you do take a low cost items and make it special!
