Medium hike to I-40 Rock.

I sold a Durango Hat in Suvivor Pink to Kristen in CA.

Mike left for work at 9:15am.He gets off at 2pm.

I bagged groceries by myself at the food pantry at 9:30am.There were 2 bags of food left in the donation box,so 16 bags had 2 packets of hot cocoa mix while one bag had a 2-pack of cherry Poptarts.

I stopped by the Family Thrift Center since it was 50% off-everything day.I was able to pick up some things I had admired in the past, but felt they were priced too high:a tea pot with a filter,2-tier server(brown square saucer-size plates on a metal frame) & fancy salt/pepper shakers.I also got a bag of yarn & quilted tote bag.

Back home,I put away clean dishes & scrubbed the kitchen floor while talking to my mother on the phone.

After lunch,I made a Snitch & a MFH Imogene in CSS Chocolate/Rose Violet.

We had Chicken Bacon Cheese wraps & Apple Salad for supper.

You gotta love those half-off days. All your talk about your thrift store finds got me started, and I got a denim skirt (I had looked at so many clothing stores for this specific style and couldn't find it) for $1.50. I altered it a tiny bit and I love it. I'm so glad you mention your stuff that you get.

Wonderful,Cynthia!I like the old-style "prairie" skirts with tiers, elastic waist & down to my ankles, which are not in style(according to the department stores).Thrift stores are the only place I can find them!

I, too love thrift shops and shopped them for years. Since I moved to Albuquerque I haven't had a chance to get out much, but love hearing everything you shop for. I didn't know you could still find prairie skirts much any more. You are "the queen of thrift" and I mean that as a complement. Shop on...
