When removing the linen closet doors for painting,I dropped one,denting the corner(cheap sawdust board).I decided to hang a curtain for a "homespun" look.I bought the rod at Big Lots for $5.The hunter green/cream patchwork fabric I got at a warehouse sale for $1.The 10 buttons came from Dollar Tree(pack of 12 for $1).I used crochet thread in cream that I already had to attach the buttons.So,for $6.10,I have a one-of-a-kind look!
We gathered up the trash/recycles we forgot to do yesterday.
I left around 8:55am,stopping at Big Lots to pick up a package of cracker sandwiches.I also found small rugs for the 2 guest rooms.
Chuck & I put together 18 bags for the food pantry.
At Goodwill,I got a lace runner,pillowcase & 2 skeins of yarn.
At the Family Thrift Center,I got a basket for the front bath to use as a trash can.
I didn't find anything at Dollar Tree.
At Hobby Lobby,I got a skein of CSS Chocolate,safety pins & small zip-top baggies.
At Savers,I got 4 more salad plates.
I didn't get anything at ThriftTown.
Back home,I finished another Neopolitan Turtle & named him "Corbin".
The special-order Girly Hat I got the CSS Chocolate for,I decided to make it with Bernat Espresso since the rose pin will be in RHS Light Raspberry.I got it most of the way completed.
We had Chicken Bacon Cheese wraps & Apple Salad for supper.
