Hike from Copper to boulders on north side of U-Mound.We saw 5 deer & Penny wanted to chase everything!

I sold a crochet leaflet to Debie in WI.

MD,SIL & I went yard-saling.All I got was a vintage tin to store my vintage buttons in.We had lunch at Denny's.

I made an Octopus in RHS Lipstick, along with a 4-rnd granny square & 5 flowers for a Garland of Blossomsscarf.I should have enough Lipstick for,at least,5 more flowers.I will mixed them with Burgundy & join with a darker shade of green.

Hike from Copper. It was sprinkling & in the low-50's.

We went by WMS to pick up ear protectors. We then drove to the shooting range, but it doesn't open until 10am.It was 9am at the time.We came back home.

It has continued to sprinkle/rain all morning.

We went back to the shooting range,Calibers,at around 1pm.My first shot was off the paper,my second shot was on the paper, but off target.I haven't been shooting in about 4 years! After the first shock of the recoil & noise, the rest of my shots hit the target. My Firestar does shoot a little low,so I have to aim a little above where I want the shot to go.It was fun!I'm thinking of getting a concealed carry permit.

I made a doily called "Cockle Shell",a bedspread motif pattern from the 1940's,in Goldenrod/Dark Red.It is gorgeous!+2

MD bought us Church's chicken for supper.

Pineapple Fan Shawl in Camel-given to my mother

Walk around the neighborhood.

The hot water heater guy came from Sears at 9am.He ordered a part, which should be here tomorrow.

I spent most of the morning washing the buttons from a tin purchased at an estate sale on Saturday. It apparently had gotten wet & the plastic & shell buttons were rust-dusty.There are some cool buttons in this mix, purchased for $1!I'm almost as addicted to vintage buttons as I am to yarn!!

I made a mat using the Petal Place Mat pattern from Annie's Crochet Newsletter Sep/Oct 1985 in Lily Sugar'n Cream "Cream".It was 3 rows smaller & I edged it in sc.It's still pretty!+2

I made a scarf in Jo-Ann Sensations Angel Hair "Posy"(50cents at a yard sale) using Pam Gillette's Spring pattern.I added a previously-made flower pin made from my wool basket.+2

I made Lindsay Springs chicken & Apple salad for supper.

I started a Diamond lap blanket in RHS Dark Sage.

Pulling unknown Sport(orange/navy/tan)multicolor from my bag,I made Turtle "Cedric",along with unknown Tan.The rest of the Tan was used on a 5-rnd granny square.+2

Mike drove the bike home at lunch-time & I drove him back to work in MD's car.

I spent the rest of the afternoon working on scrap blankets. The only ball I used up completely was some Apricot Nectar Sparkle.+1
