| You'll Need:Worsted-weight yarn,approximately 58 oz solid(or 29 oz.each Color A & Color B),Hook "N". Note:For a "Scrappy" afghan,2 rows require approximately 124 yds solid or 62 yds each of 2 colors. *Afghan is worked holding 2 strands of yarn together. Guage:3 V's=3 1/2" 4 rows=3 3/4" V-st=(dc,ch 1,dc) To Make: With 2 strands CA,ch 16(this is fringe),place a marker in the ch below the hook.Ch 194,loosley. Row 1:(right side)Dc in 5th ch from hook(equals V-st)*sk next 2 ch,V-st in next ch.Rep from * across to ch before marker(64 V-sts).Ch 16 for fringe,fasten off. Row 2:With 1 strand each CA & CB,ch 16 for fringe.Join with sc in 1st V-st,ch 3,dc in same sp.Work V-st in each ch-1 sp across.(64 V-sts). Row 3:Ch 1,turn.(sc,ch 3,dc)all in 1st ch-1 sp,Beg V-st made.Work V-st in each ch-1 sp across.Ch 16 for fringe,fasten off.
