| I loved Patty's hat so much,I came up with my own version. Redheart Simply Soft in Autumn Red and Bernat Boa in Raven. |
| You'll Need: Redheart Simply Soft and Bernat Boa yarns,K & J hooks. To Make: Holding 1 strand of each yarn together and using the K hook,follow Rnds 1-13 of my Tweed Hat pattern.Cut Boa yarn and switch to J hook. Rnd 14:Ch 1,hdc in next 2 sts,(2 hdc in next st,hdc in next 2 sts)around.Do not join. Rnd 15:Hdc in each st around.Do not join. Rnd 16:Sc in each st around.Join.Fasten off,weave in ends. Note:I found it easier to see my stitches by using contrasting colors.The Boa yarn makes this hat as fuzzy on the inside as it is on the outside.Extremely warm! |
