| You'll Need:small amounts of worsted yarn in flower color & leaf color,1 1/2" safety pin,G hook To Make: With flower color,leaving a 12" length tail ,ch 1 loosely. Rnd 1:Ch 3 for first dc,11 dc in 4th ch from hook.Join with sl st to beg ch-3(12 dc). Rnd 2:Ch 1,sc in same st & in each st around.Join(12 sc). Rnd 3:Ch 3(counts as sc,ch 2).*Sk 2 sts,sc in next st,ch 2.Rep from * 2 times.Sl st in first ch of beg ch-3(4 ch-2 loops). Rnd 4:In each loop,work(sl st,ch 2,3 dc,ch 2,sl st).4 petals. Rnd 5:Ch 2,*sl st in back of 2nd dc in next petal,ch 5.Rep from * around.Join with sl st to first sl st(4 ch-5 loops). Rnd 6:In each loop,work(sl st,ch 2,5 dc,ch 2,sl st).4 petals. Rnd 7:Ch 2,sl st in back of 3rd dc in next petal,ch 5,*sk next 3 dc,sl st in back of next dc,ch 5.Rep from * around.Join with sl st to beg sl st(5 ch-5 loops.Fasten off,weave in end. Rnd 8:Join leaf color with sl st to ending sl st of Rnd 7.In each loop,work(sl st,ch 2,2 dc,ch 2,sl st in top of dc just made[picot],2 dc,ch 2,sl st).Join.Fasten off,weave in end. Using beg 12" length tail,sew on safety pin to back of rose. |
