Lazy Shell Flower Pin

You can never have too many flower pins!
Example is 3 3/8" made in Caron Simply Soft "White" using a "G" hook displayed on Modern Flapper Hat "
Claire".
You'll Need:Small amount of any size yarn/thread and whatever hook size you are comfortable with,shank button or bead,safety pin.

Lazy Shell-sc,ch 3,2 dc

To Make:
Leaving a long length of tail for sewing on safety pin,ch 4.Join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1:Ch 1,(sc,ch 3) in ring 6 times.Join with sl st to first sc(6 ch-3 loops).
Rnd 2:In each loop,work Lazy Shell.Do not join(6 Lazy Shell petals).
Rnd 3:Ch 2,sl st in back of first dc of first petal in Rnd 2.(Ch 5,sl st in back of first dc on next petal)around.Sl st in first ch-5 loop(6 ch-5 loops).
Rnd 4:Ch 1,2 Lazy Shells in each ch-5 loop.Join with sl st to first sc(12 Lazy Shell petals).Fasten off,weave in short end.
Use long tail to sew on button or bead and safety pin.
