| You'll Need:small amount worsted yarn,G hook,9mm jingle bell. Note:Inc=2 dc in next st |
| To Make: String bell on yarn. Rnd 1:Ch 4,pull bell up against hook,join with sl st to first ch to form ring(Make sure bell is on top).Ch 3,5 dc in ring.Join with sl st to top of ch-3(6 dc). Weave in end,turn hat to right side(bell should be on the outside). Rnd 2:Ch 3,Inc.(Dc in next st,Inc)around.Join(9 dc). Rnd 3:Ch 3,dc in next st,Inc.(Dc in next 2 sts,Inc)around.Join(12 dc). Rnd 4:Ch 3,dc in next 2 sts,Inc.(Dc in next 3 sts,Inc)around.Join(15 dc). Rnd 5:Ch 3,dc in next 3 sts,Inc.(Dc in next 4 sts,Inc)around.Join(18 dc). Rnd 6:Ch 3,dc in next 4 sts,Inc.(Dc in next 5 sts,Inc)around.Join(21 dc). Rnd 7:Ch 3,dc in next 5 sts,Inc.(Dc in next 6 sts,Inc)around.Join(24 dc). Rnd 8-11:Ch 3,dc in each st around.Join(24 dc). Rnd 12:Ch 1,sc in same st as join and in each st around.Join.Fasten off,weave in end. Hanger: Join yarn in sixth st from join.Ch 20,fasten off.Pull tail tight,trim to 1",fray out end. Repeat on other side.Tie ends together to hang.Curve tip of hat to one side. |
