Do you love varigated/ombre yarns,but get frustrated by dye lots?Is there never enough of one dye lot on the shelf to make a complete project?Here's the answer to your problem!
You'll Need:
Worsted yarn-six 2.5oz skeins varigated/ombre yarn(CA),3oz solid yarn(CB),I & J hooks

To Make:
With J hook and CA,ch 100.Switch to I hook.
Row 1(right side):Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across(98 dc).Ch 3,turn.
Row 2-9:Dc in each st across.At the end of Row 9,pull up last loop of dc with CB.Ch 3,turn.
Row 10:Dc in each st across.Ch 1,turn.
Row 11:Sc in each st across.Ch 3,turn.
Row 12:Dc in each st across.Pull up last loop of dc with CA.Ch 3,turn.
Row 13-21:Dc in each st across.Ch 3,turn.
Row 22-24:Rep Rows 10-12.
Row 25-60:Rep Rows 13-25 three time.
Row 61-69:-Rep Rows 13-21.Fasten off.Weave in ends.

Edging:
Rnd 1:With right side facing,join CB with sl st in first dc on Row 69.Ch 1,sc in same st and in next 96 st,3 sc in next dc.*Working in ends of rows,2 sc in each dc row and 1 sc in each sc row.Working in free loops of beginning ch,3 sc in first ch,sc in next 96 chs,3 sc in last ch.Rep from * once.2 sc in same st as first sc.Fasten off,weave in ends.

Note:This would make a perfect Baby Blanket worked up in pastel or bright colors.
        Use 6 different colors of varigated/ombre yarns with neutral(black,white,grey,blue) stripes seperating them.
        Can only find 2 skeins of varigated/ombre?Use a solid for the CA and the varigated/ombre for the CB.
