You'll Need:small amount 2 strands,held together,#10 cotton thread(or equivalent),1" shank button,E hook,1 1/2" safety pin.

Gauge:7 sc=1"

Note:Make choker strap 1" less than desired finished length.

To Make:
Button Medallion-
Leave long tail for sewing,ch 4,join to form ring.
Rnd 1:Ch 2(counts as the first dc),9 dc in ring.Join(10 dc).
Rnd 2:Petal-(ch 2,dc in same st,,ch 2,sl st in top of dc just made(picot),dc in next st,ch 2,sl st in same st).Sl st in next st.Rep Petal 4 more times.Do not join(5 petals).
Rnd 3:Ch 2,sl st in back of center dc on next Petal,*(ch 5,sl st in back of center dc of next Petal)4 times.Do not join(5 ch-5 loops).
Rnd 4:In each loop,work(sl st,ch 2,dc,ch 2,sl st in top of dc just made(picot)dc,ch 2)twice.Each ch-5 loop has 2 petals.Fasten off,weave in end.
Use long beginning tail to sew on button & safety pin.

Choker-
Rnd 1:Ch 3,hdc in 3rd ch from hook.
Rnd 2:Ch 3,turn.Hdc in next hdc.
Rnd 3-53:Rep Rnd 2 until the choker is 1" less than finished desired length.
Row 1:Working along edeg,ch 1,*(sc in end of hdc[ch 1,sc in next hdc]to end.Sc in beginning ch).Rep from *.Fasten off,weave in ends.

Pin ends together with Button Medallion.
