| You'll Need:approximately 45yds worsted yarn,approximately 3yds fancy yarn,G hook Gauge:4sc=1" Note:cozy is worked in contiuous rounds until fancy yarn is added.Use a marker to count rounds. To Make: Rnd 1:Ch 2,loosely(right side).6 sc in second ch from hook(6 sc). Rnd 2:2 sc in each st around(12 sc). Rnd 3:Sc in next st,2 sc in next st around(18 sc). Rnd 4:Sc in next 2 sts,2 sc in next st around(24 sc). Rnd 5:Sc in next 3 sts,2 sc in next st around(30 sc).Weave in beginning end. Rnd 6:Work this round in back loop.Sc in each st around(30 sc). Rnd 7-21:Sc in each st around.Join.Pull worsted yarn up along inside of cozy. Rnd 22:Join fancy yarn with sl st,ch 1,turn(wrong side).Sc in each st around.Join.Fasten off. Rnd 23:Pull up worsted yarn,ch 1,turn(right side).Sc in each st around(30 sc). Rnd 24-26.Work in continuous rounds.Sc in each st around.Join,fasten off,weave in ends.*You may wish to try your cozy on a bottle to check height.Add as many rounds as you wish. I use a yarn needle to pull the strands of fancy yarn to the front. |
