<description><![CDATA[<p><font size="3"><em>Happy 4th!</em></font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">Medium hike,lots of people with doggies.We found a cremain box on a rock ledge.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">Mike &amp; I rode the bike to check out gun stores,but they were all closed.We went to the pet store for lighted dog collars &amp; WMS for ammo &amp; orange juice.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">Back home,we straightened up the garage &amp; cut a few branches from the tree that were hanging too low.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made Turtle "Hubert" in unknown Travertine/RHS Warm Brown.+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I used the rest of the Travertine on a Flapper Hat &amp; Timberon Hat,pairing it with CSS Gray Heather on both.+2</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made Lindsay Springs Chicken &amp; cranberry sauce for supper.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">Around 8:15pm,we went back up to the foothills,to the same rock we drink coffee at,to watch the fireworks.It was AWESOME!!!</font></p><br />

<p><font size="3">Short hike.It is now dark enough when we first start out to put the red blinking lights on the dogs so we don't lose track of them!</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">MD &amp; I cleaned out the refrigerator.She does the top shelves,I do the bottom shelves.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made 4 sausage/mushroom/olive/onion omelets.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made a Scarflette in LB Boucle' Popsicle,adding a flower pin in unknown Black wool.+2</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">After lunch,I went to the Family Thrift Center.I got a spice candle in a blue wire-top jar,a carry-on Samsonite bag for Mike to take to the range &amp; 3 shirts for me(1/2 price).</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I reheated leftover frozen spaghetti,adding extra sauce &amp; mushrooms,for supper.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I finished up the first skein of Espresso on the Diamond lap blanket.+2</font></p><br />

<p><font size="3">I sold crochet patterns to Aurora in KS &amp; Sharon in CA.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I swept the K/U &amp; vacuumed the L/D/H.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I pulled a 97yd ball of RHS Circus from my stash &amp; made a Little Octopus &amp; a Can Cozy.+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made a Sedona Hat in CSS Tweed Autumn Red(had in my stash for at least 3 years!) with a flower pin in CSS Goldenrod.I would wear this hat!+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made Brat Burritos &amp; Normandy veggies for supper.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I spent the evening working on the Autumn Leaves granny lap blanket.</font></p><br />

<p><font size="3">I sold a crochet magazine to Teresa in LA.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made Coconut Candy Bars,using Honey Nut Cheerios for the crust &amp; cut-up mini Musketeer bars for the chocolate.They taste different,but still yummy!</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made a 4-rnd granny square in RHS Aspen Print.It was actually enough to make a hat insert,but is so scratchy!+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">After lunch,I made a Flapper hat in unknown Hunter Green/RHS Mexicana.I also used the green on 3 lap blankets.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">The restof the afternoon,evening,I worked on the Espresso Diamond lap blanket.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">We had reheated Spinach Sausage casserole &amp; garlic cheese bread for supper.</font></p><br />

<p><font size="3">After lunch,I made a Roseburg Hat in RHS Black with a flower pin in wool tweed blues/purples.+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I spent the rest of the afternoon joining Autumn Leaves granny squares with Dark Sage.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made Bacon Burrito Burgers &amp; peaches for supper.</font></p><br />

<p><font size="3">Mike &amp; I got groceries at WMS &amp; Costco.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">Around 1pm,Mike,SIL &amp; I went shooting.SIL bought a new gun!</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">We got back home at about the same time Niece/Husband/Baby showed up.They brought me a big tote of yarn,leftovers from some of Niece's past projects.I spent the rest of the afternoon/evening sorting.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">It rained really hard for about 20 minutes Then drizzled for about another 1/2 hour.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made Ham/Cheese/Bacon Flatbread Grills for supper.</font></p><br />

<p><font size="3">MD,SIL &amp; I went yard-saling.I got HP GoF(found HP CoS on the book shelf last night),5 skeins of Dazzleaire Butterscotch(-10) &amp; a tapeatry bag for carrying yarn projects with me.We had lunch at Mis Amigos.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I showed SIL how to do the Round Ripple pattern.She was getting tired of making nothing but One Big Granny blankets.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made the last 7 squares for the Autumn Leaves/Dark Sage lap blanket.I had enough AL to make a square for the Stained Glass lap blanket.+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">We all had leftovers for supper.</font></p><br />

<p><font size="3">Walk around the neighborhood,64 degrees.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I sold a Sedona Hat in Taupe/Medium Country Blue/Biscuit to Doreen in PA.A crochet magazine to Joann in NJ.To Janice in WA,I sold Thread Coasters in Burgundy &amp; Bottle Cozies in Brown/Jungle Cat &amp; Jade/Country Garden.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I finished up the Cell Cozy from vintage C&amp;C wool in Melon,which is a bright,almost neon,pinkish-red.+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I also finished the flower pin for the RHS Black/unknown Shaded Pinks Flapper Hat I made yesterday on the car ride up to camp.+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I spent the rest of the day using up scraps on granny squares,hair scrunchies,flowers,etc.+5</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">MD made steaks while I made Apple Salad.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I started a Diamond lap blanket in Caron Natura Espresso.</font></p><br />

<description><![CDATA[<p><font size="3">Short hike,69 degrees.It was cloudy out to the west,which made for a beautiful sunrise.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I sold a Sedona Hat in Sandy Print/Aran to Jennifer in IL.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I went to the post office &amp; then to the Family Thrift Center,where I didn't find anything.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I made another Cell Cozy in unknown Navy wool,adding a vintage silver-tone button.I started another in Melon wool.+1</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I did dress up as Mafalda Prewett in hiking boots,ragg socks,long patchwork skirt,Indian-inspired small purse,Olive cape &amp; a hat wrapped with a Garland of Blossoms scarf.I stuff one of my wooden crochet hooks in the scarf for my wand.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">SIL,Niece/Great Niece,SIL's Friend &amp; I left for camp at 2pm.We helped set up Hogsmeade with carnival-type games.We then went to the Great Hall for supper.We were all given different kitchen utensils to eat with instead of silverware.I had a small,deep ladel which I couldn't use,so I ate with my fingers!We had to do a "chicki-chicki" dance for dessert.</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">At Hogsmeade,I ran the "Fanged Frisbee Toss".The kids had to toss small frisbees in to up-turned umbrellas hanging from the ceiling for a prize.I gave them as many chances as they needed &amp; if the went through all 12 frisbees with getting 4 in,I gave them a prize anyway.The other booths were Honeydukes Sweet Shoppe,face painting,Pin the Eye on Moody,ring-toss &amp; frozen turkey bowling.It was all great fun!</font></p><br />
<p><font size="3">I got home at 10:30pm.</font></p><br />
